I was very surprised to see Christmas underway at Aldik's but when we talked to one of the owners I can see why. He told us that they had to be up and running -- completed for Christmas -- by October 1. That means they have 15 days until they need to be ready to roll!
There was lots done - but lots to be done as well. I rather wanted to put in an application and decorate some of their trees. It looked like so much fun!
We got caught up in the whole vibe and almost bought a new Christmas tree!!! (We decided we would go back on October 1st and reevaluate our decision. Whew! Close Call ! )
At any rate, it was a great start to the weekend -- thinking about the holidays ahead, and the fun we're planning!
