So much to do before the big day!
In our first years of marriage, Robert and I lived on a sweet little street in Van Nuys. Down the block lived neighbors Nancy and Steve, two lawyers with a little girl names Sara. Strolling our little Jennifer we met on the sidewalk and became fast friends.
That was 39 years ago. And this weekend I am co-hosting Sara's bridal shower, and I couldn't be happier to fete her, and to honor the long relationship that began so many years ago when our lives had just begun.
