The ride up the mountain was a little rough, but the views from the top were spectacular. The sun setting on the horizon, and the snow encrusted trees, like a fairy land.
One of our tour guides said that black birch are so ugly that they are considered trees that only a mother could love.
I have to disagree! Just look at the beauty that surrounded us!
