It has been an eventful day in Los Angeles, as everyone watches with dread as the Palisades fire continues to ravage the suburban area of Pacific Palisades.
While we are not in danger here, the pictures on our local TV station are frightening . As dark descends, the wind is increasing, and even more tragic, in much of the live coverage that we have been watching, there are no fire trucks in sight. Fire fighters are overwhelmed. There are simply too many separate fires burning for them to attack them all individually.
Grateful for all the firefighters tonight. And praying for their safety, and the safety of all the residents in the area.
